Hi!
My name is Andrzej Warenczuk. I come from the south of Poland, and I currently live in Cambridge, UK.
Since childhood, I have had an artistic sensitivity, but it wasn’t until after I turned forty that I began to realize that art is what truly gives meaning to my life.
In high school, I became interested in poetry and music. There was a time when I composed pieces for classical guitar, piano, organ, as well as songs. I also wrote song lyrics and composed music for the poems of my favorite poets.
In 2009, I was among the winners of a crime story competition. The prize was the publication of my story titled Support Group in a collection of stories called Crime Alleys.
In 2015, I began my journey with painting, which I continue to this day, and since 2020 I have also been passionate about photography. Being a bit old-fashioned, I have a great fondness for paper, and I believe that good photography should be printed. That’s why, since 2021, I have also been involved in printing photographs and reproducing paintings.
This year I will turn 50, yet I still feel a hunger for life and creativity. I have many different ideas waiting to be brought to life.
I believe this is not the end.

Nazywam się Andrzej Warenczuk. Pochodzę z południa Polski, a aktualnie mieszkam w Cambridge UK.
Już od dziecka cechowała mnie artystyczna wrażliwość ale dopiero po czterdziestce zacząłem pojmować, że to właśnie sztuka nadaje mojemu życiu sens.
W szkole średniej zainteresowałem się poezją i muzyką. Był czas kiedy komponowałem utwory na gitarę klasyczną, fortepian, organy, a także piosenki. Pisałem również teksty piosenek oraz muzykę do wierszy moich ulubionych poetów.
W 2009 roku byłem wśród laureatów konkursu na opowiadanie kryminalne. Nagrodą było wydanie opowiadania pod tytułem “Grupa wsparcia” w zbiorze opowiadań pod tytułem “Zaułki zbrodni”.
W 2015 roku rozpocząłem przygodę z malarstwem, którą kontynuuję do dziś, a od 2020 roku również z fotografią. Ponieważ staroświecko mam duży sentyment do papieru, uważam, że dobra fotografia powinna zostać wydrukowana. Dlatego też od 2021 zajmuję się również drukowaniem fotografii oraz reprodukcji obrazów.
W tym roku skończę 50 lat lecz wciąż czuję niedosyt życia i twórczości. Mam wiele różnych pomysłów, które czekają na realizację.
